Tomorrowland Weekend 1 runs July 17-19, 2026 at De Schorre in Boom, drawing roughly 200,000 people across three days and 16 themed stages. The 2026 edition marks the festival's 20th anniversary, with a new theme unveiled at the Magical Reveal each spring. Production is the reason people fly in from 200+ countries: the mainstage alone costs more than some festivals' entire budget, and the wooden build-outs at Freedom, Core, and Atmosphere rival theme parks.

Expect the entire electronic spectrum — big room, techno, trance, hardstyle, drum & bass, melodic house — rotating across stages that each commit fully to their sound. DreamVille campsite holds 38,000 with its own bakery, pharmacy, and post office. The Global Journey travel packages remain the festival's signature upsell, bundling flights and accommodation from 200+ cities.

Weekend 1 is for first-timers, international travelers, and anyone who wants the 'full' Tomorrowland with peak global crowd energy. If you're flying in from the US, Asia, or South America, W1 is traditionally the showcase weekend. Skip it if you hate crowds, can't stomach €6 beer tokens, or prefer a single-genre event — Tomorrowland is a sensory overload festival and it will exhaust you. Ages skew 20-32, couples and groups dominate, solo travelers are rarer but welcomed.

Tickets sell out in minutes during the January pre-sale — register on the Tomorrowland website by early January and set alarms for both Worldwide and Belgian sale rounds. Arrive at DreamVille Thursday afternoon for the Gathering opening party — it's included with camping and sets the tone.
