Who it's for
Rampage Open Air is exclusively for drum & bass and dubstep fans. If you love Andy C and Sub Focus, you need to go. If you prefer house, techno, or hardstyle, skip it entirely — the lineup is 100% bass music. Ages skew 18-30, heavily Belgian, Dutch, British, and German, with strong group travel. Solo-goers work fine; the D&B community is famously welcoming. Physical intensity is high — jungle and neuro crowds mosh hard.

Weekend tickets start around €150 (early bird, ex. fees); camping is sold separately and includes 3 swimming pools, 2 camping stages, and a covered silent disco. Tickets go on early-bird sale shortly after the previous edition (late summer/autumn) — book early, Rampage sells out fast. Lommel sits in northeast Belgium; nearest train station is Mol, then a shuttle. From Antwerp the trip is around 90 minutes; Brussels and Eindhoven are similar distances.

The Mainstage handles the biggest headliners but gets the densest crowds; the second main stage and camping stages (Breezer Stage, Eristoff Rave Cave) carry deeper jungle and neuro programming. Earplugs are recommended for the multi-day sound exposure. Onsite camping is the default move — most attendees don't bother with hotels.
